Inclusivity & Access

Accessibility Statement

At MastiGuru, we believe digital knowledge should be universally accessible to everyone. This statement summarizes our accessibility standards, assistive design measures, and feedback mechanisms.

1. Our Accessibility Commitment

MastiGuru is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all people, including individuals with disabilities, neurodivergent readers, and assistive technology users. We continually optimize the platform user experience and apply relevant accessibility standards across our reader feeds, creator studio, and navigation interfaces.

2. Conformance Standards (WCAG 2.1 AA)

We target compliance with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines define best practices for making digital content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for screen readers, keyboard-only users, switch devices, and screen magnifiers.

3. Built-In Accessibility Features

Our web application incorporates foundational accessibility features: (a) Semantic HTML5 elements and structured heading hierarchy (h1 through h6); (b) ARIA landmarks and live regions for dynamic announcements; (c) Skip-to-content direct links for rapid keyboard navigation; (d) High-contrast text palettes meeting AA contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for standard body copy); (e) Visible keyboard focus indicators across all interactive links and buttons; and (f) Fluid responsive zoom supporting text scaling up to 200% without loss of functionality.

4. Authoring Accessible Creator Content

We provide creators with tools to uphold accessibility in published stories: (a) Alt text input fields for all uploaded images and diagrams; (b) Clear paragraph and heading formatting options; and (c) Readable typography designed to minimize cognitive strain and eye fatigue.

5. Known Areas of Ongoing Enhancement

While we strive for comprehensive accessibility, certain complex third-party media embeds, legacy data visualizations, and advanced rich-text code block syntax highlights may have variable screen reader support. We actively audit and refine these components during ongoing sprint cycles.

6. Feedback & Accessibility Contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of MastiGuru. If you encounter an accessibility barrier or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at support@mastiguru.com with 'Accessibility Concern' in the subject line. [Notice: Platform owners should designate a formal accessibility coordinator and establish a dedicated accommodation response protocol prior to launch.]
